What is Whole30? 

“Founded by Melissa Hartwig (and Dallas Hartwig) in April 2009, the Whole30® is designed to change your life in 30 days. Think of it as a short-term nutrition reset, designed to help you put an end to unhealthy cravings and habits, restore a healthy metabolism, heal your digestive tract, and balance your immune system.” Check out this link for an in-depth review of the Whole30. Millions (yes millions) of people have completed the Whole30 since 2009.

I’m thrilled to be a Certified Whole30 Coach and offer my services to those who are interested in learning more or need a little support and guidance with the specifics of the program.

All of my programs are 6 weeks (Includes one week pre and one week post your 30 days.) The program can be done individually or as part of a group. All programs are offered to fit client’s preference through Zoom / FaceTime / phone / or in-person if local to San Diego.


What will I receive as part of my 6-Week program?

Week 1- Prep Week- This is were when talk about setting you up for success, how to get your house ready, how to shop, understanding the rules, and many more topics to get you ready for this life changing experience. I will set you up for success and create an individual plan for you based on your unique needs identified through your intake assessment.

Week 2-5 Will focus on actually doing the Whole30. Throughout the process you will learn to address both the habit and emotional components of eating, which will lead you to your food freedom once and for all.

Week 6 Will focus on supporting you through your reintroduction. This is where you reintroduce foods you have eliminated to assess wether they have a negative impact on you or not. You will choose what foods you will keep in your diet and what foods you will continue to moderate or eliminate.

In addition to weekly discussion and content, I send weekly emails with tips, motivation, advice, workout tips, recipes, personalized handouts, etc.

You will have access to my private Whole30 Facebook Community where you will receive support and can connect with other Whole30 participants.

Group Participation Package

Includes all content mentioned above delivered through a 6 week series of live lectures through an on-line group from the privacy of your own home. The group package does not include the additional weekly one-on-one calls available with the individual package.


Individual participation package


Includes all content mentioned above plus an additional 6 individual, 40 minute, private sessions together to focus on personal growth.  These sessions are personalized for you to discuss anything you want. Questions about the Whole30, motivation, challenges, emotional issues, relationship with food, problem solving, family dynamics, etc. You can choose the focus or I can guide you depending on your needs.

I incorporate the whole person, meaning we address your mind - body- and spirit- in addition to the Whole30 food plan. I take pride in this unique skill set and believe when we treat the whole, versus the parts, of a person it leads to long-term and permanent change. 

Do I really need a coach? 

The answer is maybe. The Whole30, in and of itself, will always be free and available to anyone. In my professional experience, clients find the consistent contact and accountability helps them with motivation and to embrace the overall spirit of the Whole30. I also summarize important facts from the Whole30 books and website to help you focus on what is most important. This way you have less information to sort through as you are putting a majority of your focus on learning and implementing the basics of the food plan.
